Jay Height (Maika Monroe) is getting ready for a date with Jeff: she’s wearing Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Pur lipstick in a baby pink shade.
Pusher (1996)
Frank (Kim Bodnia) and Tonny (Mads Mikkelsen) take a trip to Matas, a local drugstore. Lots of personal care/beauty products can be seen. Matas products, with the trademark striped packaging, are on the shelves of a whole aisle.
A staple of 1990s hair-styling – L’Oreal Studio Line hair products, with the lovely white, yellow, black, red and blue packaging – can be seen, too.
Another classic drugstore line – L’Oreal Elvive haircare – can be spotted on the shelves.
Clearasil acne and marks treatment line has its place on the shelves, too.
Apparently, Chicogo was the brand name with which Rimmel marketed its products in Germany and other Northern European country. The counter in the drugstore visited by Frank and Tonny has got lipsticks and nail polishes.
The Age of Adaline (2015)
There are two L’Oreal lipsticks on the dressing table of Adaline Bowman (Blake Lively). The one with the silver case, on the left, is Infallible Le Rouge, while the other is the classic Color Riche.
The red jar on the table is another L’Oreal product. I do believe it’s part of the Revitalift anti-age line. It could be the intensive overnight mask or Magic Blur.
Sam Smith’s Dressing Table
The British singer Sam Smith recently posted this picture on his Instagram account. It was shot in Mexico City, where the singer attended the premiere of Sam Mendes’ Spectre, the new James Bond movie.
A bottle of Le Labo perfume can be seen on the table. It’s impossible to read the label, so we don’t know exactly what fragrance he wore. What do you think it’s his perfume of choice?
Thanks to my Instagram friend Mustapha for the id.
Pushing Daisies S01E04 (Pigeon)
Ned (Lee Pace) and Emerson Cod (Chi McBride) are working on a murder/suicide case. They smell something strange; Emerson thinks it’s Ned’s cologne, but the Pie-Maker says he wears none. Maybe it’s Emerson’s cologne, since he’s the one who uses it. I wonder what his cologne of choice is… Any thoughts?
Scream Queens S01E07 (Beware of Young Girls)
Feather McCarthy has got several beauty products in the bathroom at Stephen Munsch’s house: three Essie nail polishes can be seen on the white tray on the left. Near the wash-basin there’s a pump bottle of Marc Anthony Healing Macadamia Oil rejuvenating body lotion.
On the far right there’s a pump bottle of lemon & verbena hand lotion by W. M. Apothecary.
Scream Queens S01E07 (Beware of Young Girls)
Feather McCarthy (Tavi Gevinson) uses a MAC lip liner in an antique pink shade.
When she opens the bathroom cabinet, some NARS Soft Touch shadow pencils can be seen. I do believe the exact shades are Iraklion, Queen, Silver Factory and Goddess. The last one on the right could be Hollywoodland, though.
Sisters (2015)
There are two Dr. Bronner’s products in the poster for the upcoming Jason Moore film, starring Tina Fey and Amy Poehler.
On the top left there’s a Shikakai pump liquid soap with spearmint and peppermint.
On the top right there’s a bottle of Pure Castile baby unscented liquid soap.
Monica Vitti’s Dressing Table (1961)
This beautiful picture of Monica Vitti was taken by photographer Rodrigo Pais on August 1st, 1961 in Rome: the Italian actress was on the set of Michelangelo Antonioni’s L’eclisse.
My attention was caught by the square glass bottle sitting on the left of her dressing table. It’s an Atkinsons cologne, very popular in Italy. I’m not sure if it’s English Lavender or Gold Medal, though.

I’ve also spotted another popular drugstore beauty product, Roberts rosewater. You may remember the same bottle was seen in a film starring Vitti, Modesty Blaise (1966) by Joseph Losey.
