There are several products on Flaca’s table – a pump bottle of Vaseline Intensive Rescue body lotion, a Cutex nail polish remover, a mini bottle of OPI nail polish and NYX Black Label lipstick in Raisin.

Lena Hall’s Dressing Room (2016)

The American actress and singer Lena Hall published this picture on her Instagram account. She was dressed as Yitzhak, one of the protagonists of Hedwig and the Angry Inch. She had this role in the musical’s revival on Broadway, thanks to which she won a Tony Award as Best Featured Actress in a Musical in 2014. In the picture she was holding a NARS lipstick and in the caption she mused: “Trying not to get caught by Hedwig!”. Now the point is: Schiap or Funny Face? What is the exact shade of that lipstick? It looks more the wonderfully fun fuchsia than the shocking matte pink inspired to Elsa Schiaparelli. What’s your guess?
A Single Man (2009)
There’s a Guerlain flacon montre with glass stopper on Charlotte’s bed-side table. The central disk of the label is not visible, so it’s hard to tell what perfume it contained. It’s dark, though, so we can make some assumptions.
It could be Ode, with the purple disk.
Or Vol de Nuit, with the navy blue disk.
It could also be Jicky, with the burgundy disk.
Or Liu, with the black disk.
Or even Mitsouko, with the emerald green disk.
Which Guerlain cologne do you think could suit the character? I would see her wearing Jicky, with its fresh spicy notes, or Liu, with its beautiful opening of aldehydes and bergamot.

Liza Miller (Sutton Foster) puts on some Olay Regenerist micro-sculpting cream. Her friend Maggie (Debi Mazar) comments on it and mentions the brand.
You may remember a similar scene (i.e. a perfect example of product placement) was in the eighth episode of the first season.
Eartha Kitt’s Dressing Room (1953)
The singer and actress Eartha Kitt started her career in the early 1950s, when she performed in New Faces of 1952, a musical revue with songs and comedy skits at the Royale Theatre on Broadway, New York. In the picture above, taken on February 1953, Kitt was portrayed with her cat Jinx.

Several Caron bottles can be seen in the beauty department. Two types of bottles are displayed: one is made all of glass, with tall rectangular stopper; the other is made of dotted glass with gold fluted stopper. Unfortunately, it’s impossible to tell what scents they contain. On the contrary, we know the black bottle in the box is Nuit de Noël, a floral fragrance created by Ernest Daltroff and launched in 1922.
