There’s Mrs. Meyer’s Basil liquid hand soap in Joshua’s bathroom.
Just a few moments before starting the performance of Volk, the dancers of the Markos Tanz-Akademie get in a line. On one shelf by the dressing room mirrors there’s an unusual product: Roxy hand-cleaning paste by the German brand Pelikan. Famous for its fountain pens and writing instruments, Pelikan invented this product [1] for cleaning hands from ink, oil and dirt. A product definitely needed in the creepiest dance academy of West Berlin.

There are a box of Dove soap and a Cutex nail polish remover in Nora’s bathroom cabinet.

There’s Perlier Honey cream soap in Allie’s bathroom.
The Italian brand was huge in the 1990s, so this sighting brings back lots of memories. I’ve lost count of the times I gifted friends with Perlier’s lovely bodycare products. My favourite lines were White Almond, White Musk and Honey.
There’s a pump bottle of Dr. Bronner’s organic sugar soap in Lemongrass Lime on the sink in Marlo’s kitchen.
There are Alba Botanica Hawaiian hair conditioner and shampoo in Gloss Boss Honeydew, Degree Sheer Powder deodorant stick and Dove pink beauty cream bar in Natalie and Cindy’s bathroom.
There are also Degree Shower Clean spray deodorant, Aveeno Positively Smooth shave gel, Dove Ultimate Visibly Smooth deodorant stick, Alba Botanica face moisturizer and Nair moisturizing cream hair remover in Vanilla Smoothie.

There’s a bottle of Kiona creamy soap on the sink in Gry’s kitchen.
There are many products on a shelf in Jules Ostin’s bathroom. On the far right there’s a bottle of Dr. Bronner’s lavender pure Castile liquid soap. On a white tray there’s a pump bottle of Jo Malone body and hand wash.
On the same white tray there are some Aesop products. The tall pump bottle could be the Resurrection Aromatique hand wash, the classic conditioner or a body cleanser, while the shorter bottles could be a shampoo or a body cleanser.
The two white tall bottles on the far left are Kiehl’s products. They could be a body wash, a shampoo or a conditioner. The third Kiehl’s bottle is the Original Musk Blend N°1 bath and shower liquid body cleanser.
