The compact Violet (Sanaa Lathan) uses to apply make-up in the morning is Make Up For Ever Duo Mat powder foundation.

Je vous salue, Marie (1985)
Marie (Myriem Roussel) stops at a Lancôme counter to check some cosmetics. She wants to try some lipsticks: the ones on the right are standard testers, while the ones on the left look more interesting.
I personally have no memory of Lancôme stylo lipsticks, but I’ve found some evidence of their existence. The first (bad quality) picture shows the exact lipstick seen in the film, with the brown/marroon tube. It was called Stylo à Levres and was launched in the late 1970s.
Skate Kitchen (2018)
When Camille (Rachelle Vinberg) and her girlfriends go to a party, Kabrina (Kabrina Adams) dolls her up by applying a MAC lipstick in a vibrant purple shade, which I think is Heroine.
Los amantes pasajeros (2013)
Norma Boss (Cecilia Roth) uses Chanel make-up: in the screencap above, a Rouge Coco lipstick in a pale coral shade.
She uses a Chanel compact (a blush or a powder) to check her make-up.
The Tribes of Palos Verdes (2017)
Medina (Maika Monroe) is wearing Sephora retractable waterproof eyeliner in Matte Brown Black.

Purslane (Scarlett Johansson) is putting on some make-up: she’s using MAC Studio Fix powder foundation.
Girl Most Likely (2012)
There are many interesting products in Imogene Duncan’s bathroom cabinet.
The black boxes on the top shelf are by MAC and contain lipsticks.
In the lower shelf there’s a blue perfume bottle with gold accents: it’s Dior Addict by Dior, a white floral fragrance created by Thierry Wasser and launched in 2002.
There’s also a jar of La Mer eye concentrate treatment.
Last, there’s a red box containing BeneTint lip and cheek stain by BeneFit.
Ocean’s Eight (2018)
One of the most important scenes of the film is when the actress Daphne Kluger (Anne Hathaway) finally gets to wear the Toussaint, a $150 million Cartier diamond necklace, for the Met Gala.
Her dressing table is packed with Marc Jacobs make-up, among which several bottles of Re(marc)able liquid foundation.

Eighth Grade (2018)
In the morning, Kayla (Elsie Fisher) puts her make-up with a pink pear-shaped sponge, which is likely to be the Sephora Airbrush one. It’s a very generic tool and many brands make it, but I like to think she got it at a shop she could find in a mall.
The eye pencil she uses is by MAC.
