Stranger Things S01E01 (The Vanishing of Will Byers)

strangerthings_ep01_bornunicorn

revlonjeannate_bornunicornThe yellow pump bottle in Jim Hopper’s bathroom is Revlon Jean Naté liquid soap. Before being bought by Revlon, the Jean Naté Company launched its perfume in 1935: according to Fragrantica, it includes “citrus, floral and spicy notes, such as lavender, jasmine, rose, carnation, lily of the valley, cedar, tonka bean, musk and sandalwood.”

dermalogica_bornunicornThere are four Dermalogica products by the bath tub in the Hansson’s bathroom. Many products of this brand have the same packaging, so I’m just assuming here: the tall pump bottle is likely to be a body wash; the tube could be a scrub or a masque; the all-white product could be a deodorant. The one I’m 100% sure about is the metal pump bottle, which is a stress-relief treatment oil.

The Path S01E06 (Breaking and Entering)

thepath_s01e06_bornunicornSara Lane (Michelle Monaghan) decides to visit her estranged sister Tessa when she’s not at home. She goes through the rooms of her beautiful New York apartment, bedroom included. On a dresser we get a very close view of some beauty products.

bitebeautyhighpigmentpencil_bornunicorn

orlycolorblastsnowqueen_bornunicornnuxe_huileprodigieuse_bornunicornThe lip pencil is Bite Beauty High Pigment. I’m a bit on the fence when it comes to the exact shade. It could be Pomegranate, Cranberry or even Quince. The white nail polish is Orly Color Blast in Snow Queen from the Frozen collection. Last but not least, there’s a bottle of Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse multi-purpose dry oil, made of macadamia, hazelnut, borage, almond, camellia and St. John’s wort oils.

tumblr_o6bthciWjk1vnjq0wo3_540Sara is so fascinated by her sister’s lifestyle that she puts her lip colour on. Later, after visiting the bathroom and seeing all the anti-depressants her sister takes, she will change her mind.

Thanks to AllLacqueredUp‘s Michelle, Amber and VampyVarnish‘s Kelly for helping me with the nail polish id.

ENDYMIONDEODORANT_bornunicornThe tall glass bottle contains bath oil; unfortunately, the label is not visible and the ribbon bow has been removed, so it’s impossible to give a precise id. Judging from the colour of the oil, it could be Lavandula, Artemisia, Cornubia (it would be perfect on Jed) or even the sadly discontinued Victorian Posy. On the other hand, the round tin box is from the Christmas 2013 collection, the contemporary version of Victorian music boxes, “interpreted as birdcages holding mechanical songbirds.” Again, it’s impossibile to tell what is inside. Last, there’s Endymion deodorant next to the tin box.

Younger S01E11 (Hot Mitzvah)

younger_s01e11_bornunicorn dovedeepmoisturebodywash_bornunicornThere’s a bottle of Dove Deep Moisture nourishing body wash on Josh’s bath-tub. The label has been covered, so you can read “Park” and not the actual brand on it.

The same has been done to a tube of Noxzema Ultimate Clear daily scrub.

Thanks to Emily in the comments for the Noxzema id.
