Novice nun Colleen shortly goes back to her teenage self by using the make-up she wore in her emo/Goth phase, in this case a dark shade of Lethal lipstick by Manic Panic.

There’s a box of Coty Airspun loose face powder on Myrtle’s dressing table.
One of the most famous scenes of the film is Myrtle Gordon (Gena Rowlands) putting on her signature lip colour just before hitting the stage. As you can see, she’s not holding a lipstick but a jumbo crayon. In the 1970s several beauty brands released make-up in crayon form, including Max Factor, which created the Pure Magic line.
Myrtle uses the cheek crayon, bigger than the lip one. It would be interesting to know the exact shade she’s wearing, a beautiful bright pink shade.
Thanks to the invaluable help of Hillary, the curator of the Makeup Museum, for the id.

Mary (Taraji P. Henson) uses Iman Cosmetics make-up items. In the screencap above, she’s using the semi-loose powder.

Here she’s applying the Luxury moisturizing lipstick in Flirtatious.
Thanks to my friend Jennifer for pointing this trailer out to me.
Rayon (Jared Leto) applies her make-up using the mirror of a black compact. It’s the Dual Finish highlighter by Lancôme, a product which wasn’t on the market in 1985/1988, years in which the film is set.
On her dresser there’s a can of L’Oreal Elnett hairspray.

There are two lipsticks on Ilana Mather’s dressing table: the one with the golden case is Pure Color by Estee Lauder; the one with the black and gold case is by Chanel.
The gold jar contains another Estee Lauder product – the face cream Re-Nutriv.
Thanks to Bunny Hoover for the cream id.
