McReynolds (Tyler Hoechlin) and his house mates are getting ready for a night out. In the screencap above he’s using the woody fragrance Aramis For Men, created by Bernard Chant and launched in 1966. Other boys will end up using the same perfume.

Other products can be seen in the bathroom: for example, there’s a can of Barbasol shaving cream on the sink.

On a counter there’s a can of Gillette Right Guard deodorant.

There’s a bottle of Terry de Gunzburg Thé Glacé aqua parfum on Maya’s dresser.
This fragrance, created in 2016, is part of the perfume collection by the legendary make-up artist who worked as Makeup Designer of YSL Beauté for 15 years and who is behind the make-up brand By Terry, launched in 1998.

Hedge-fund executive Suzanne Murphy is retouching her make-up: in doing so, she applies Stila Lip Glaze gloss in a peachy pink shade.

There are pump bottles of Hask Argan Oil repairing shampoo and conditioner in Maya’s shower.

There are four perfume bottles sitting on Jackie’s vanity. Two of them are decorative objects, but two are real perfumes. The octagonal bottle is Jean Charles Brosseau Ombre Rose L’Original, a woody powdery fragrance created by Francoise Caron and launched in 1981. The purple one is Estee Lauder Sensuous Noir, a flanker of the 2008 perfume Sensuous: created by Annie Buzantian, it was launched in 2010.

Debbie (Sandra Bullock) uses Dior DiorShow mascara.

Annalise (Viola Davis) puts on a red lipstick before going to work. It’s a MAC lipstick, even if the brand name has been covered with some silver tape. The shade could be Ruby Woo.
The big night happened and delivered lots of glamour! I was really looking forward to reading the Oscars winner list this morning but my mind was actually on the red carpet. I loved many outfits and beauty looks, even if the neutral trend seems to go still strong and no extravagant trends were seen. As usual, I’ve collected the most interesting kits that make-up artists have posted on Instagram, starting from Sarah Uslan, who did Olivia Colman’s make-up.

Cosmetics by Pat McGrath Labs, skincare by Emma Hardie (Plump & Glow hydrating facial mist, Midas Touch revitalising eye serum and face serum duo, Moisture Boost vitamin-C cream) and Lashify lashes were used on the British actress who won as Best Actress for The Favourite by Yorgos Lanthimos.

In this picture, Sarah is applying a red lipstick.

Another kit by Pat McGrath Labs was used by Moani Lee, who did Kacey Musgraves’ dreamy make-up to match the baby pink tulle dress by Giambattista Valli.

Chanel make-up in neutral and golden tones was used by Alex Babsky on Tessa Thompson, who wore a black Chanel dress with silver and gold accents. The eyeshadow palettes seen above are Les 9 Ombres in Édition N°2 Quintessence and Les 4 Ombres in Codes Élégants #274.

Adam Breuchaud did Sarah Paulson‘s make-up using Tom Ford products.

Make-up artist Carissa Ferreri used Arbonne products on Yalitza Aparicio. In the picture she’s applying the blush Blossom.

Last but not least, Jillian Dempsey‘s kit for Emilia Clarke had Dolce & Gabbana cosmetics only. In the picture above, she’s holding the Sicilian Lace palette, which includes four eyeshadows, one blush, one highlighter and two lipsticks. What I love in the first picture is not only the nice packaging of the make-up products but the presence of a perfume bottle, too! It seldom happens to see what fragrances celebrities wear on the red carpet, so this is a fortunate coincidence. The perfume here is The Only One eau de parfum, launched in 2018 as a variation of the 2006 perfume The One. In the first picture we can also see Dempsey’s Gold Bar, a 24-carat, gold plated, vibrating t-bar used as skin sculpting and contouring tool.
What do you think of the dressing tables I’ve selected? What are your favourites?
There are medicines and beauty products on a tray by Moira’s bed.
The white jar with the cap printed in blue letters is Crema Calendula by Officina Profumo-Farmaceutica Santa Maria Novella. This is still on the market, but with a different packaging (tube instead of jar).
There’s another white jar: this has the capital “s” engraved on the cap. It’s by Sisley but it’s impossible to say more about it. As a matter of fact, this jar is used for several skincare products.
There’s also a Penhaligon’s perfume. Judging from the ribbon bow on the bottle, it’s Artemisia, a powdery/milky fragrance launched in 2002.
