Poppy Blossom (Madelaine Petsch) is one of the protagonists of this episode, inspired to The Hours (2002) by Stephen Daldry, based on the novel with the same title by Michael Cunningham. Her storyline is set in the 1950s: she’s an independent woman who practices the arts of magic, through which she tries to help the women of Rivervale trapped in unhappy or boring lives.
