Annalise Keating’s dressing table is always worth a careful look because there’s often something interesting on it. In the opening scene of this episode she puts some NARS blush on and picks a Tom Ford black-case lipstick, even if she ends up wearing a different lipstick.

The title of this episode refers to Rodion Romanovič Raskol’nikov, the protagonist of Fëdor Dostoevskij’s Crime and Punishment (1866): he kills a pawnbroker and her sister; he gets away with the double murder until he decides to admit the crime. Could it be a hint to what will happen next in the tv show?

macrubywoo_bornunicornA couple of weeks ago I binge-watched the ABC legal dramaHow to Get Away with Murder and I fell in love with the make-up of Bonnie Winterbottom (Liza Weil). It’s very similar to my everyday make-up, which means bare face and eyes but ruby red lips. The shade used on her is fantastic, so I turned to Twitter to ask the show’s make-up artist more about it. Sergio Lopez-Rivera was so kind to answer my question and revealed he uses Ruby Woo by MAC on the actress. This shade is among my favourites ever, but I must admit it looks more vibrant on Liza, probably because of her fair complexion, which makes the colour pop.

Jack Falahee’s Dressing Room (2014)

Jack Falahee, one of the protagonists of the legal drama tv show How to Get Away with Murder, posted this picture on his Instagram account. There are some notes from the costume department, plus a bottle of Kiehl’s Original Musk. This happens to be one of my favourite scents: it’s an awesome musky scent with neroli, rose, ylang-ylang and orange blossom notes. It’s definitely a sexy perfume, so I can totally see the American actor wearing it on the set.
