Margot (Toni Collette) keeps some perfumes and beauty products on her mirrored vanity.

On the far left there’s a bottle of Issey Miyake L’Eau d’Issey eau de toilette, a floral aquatic fragrance by Jacques Cavallier launched in 1992.

Next to it there’s Elizabeth Taylor White Diamonds, a floral aldehyde fragrance created by Carlos Benaim and launched in 1991.

On the right side of the table there’s a bottle of Calvin Klein Escape, a floral aquatic fragrance created by Claude Dir and launched in 1991.

On the vanity there’s also a jar of Estee Lauder Re-Nutriv cream.

Shameless S10E01 (We Few, We Lucky Few, We Band of Gallaghers!)

Debbie owns a secret storage locker where she keeps expensive clothes, accessories and beauty products. Her intention is to return all these goods after using them for a while.

The tall pink bottle on the left is Gucci Flora Gorgeous Gardenia, a floral fruity fragrance launched in 2012.

Next to it there’s Hèrmes Twilly d’Hermès, a floral fragrance created by Christine Nagel and launched in 2017.

There three bottles sitting on the right drawer. The first from the left is Jimmy Choo eau de parfum, a chypre fruity fragrance created by Olivier Polge and launched in 2011.

The pink bottle houses Versace Bright Crystal Absolu, another floral fruity fragrance, created by Alberto Morillas and launched in 2013.

The third one is Yves Saint Laurent Opium, the 2009 version of the 1977 amber spicy classic, originally created by Jean Amic, Jean-Louis Sieuzac and Raymond Chaillan.

Among the make-up products, we can see a Dior compact.

There’s a bottle of Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra Wear liquid foundation.

There’s also a MAC pressed powder compact.

On the other side of the table there’s a NARS compact, which could contain blush or single eyeshadow.

There are some interesting products in Shiv and Tom’s bedroom.

The jar with silver cap is L’Occitane Amande Concentré de Lait, a smoothing and beautifying body cream.

The tall bottle with golden stopper is Ysatis, a Givenchy classic from the 1980s: this chypre floral fragrances was created by Dominique Ropion and launched in 1984.

After much pondering and analysing, now we know the identity of the other tall bottle, which is Chanel No. 5 in the built-in sprayer version (see the gold details in the screencap above).

Fishbowl Wives E01

A fictitious perfume – Gold Rose by Molinier – is central in the plot of the first episode.

We don’t know exactly what it smells like but it’s housed in a bottle reminiscent of Chanel Chance – same round shape and squared stopper.

The protagonist, former hair stylist Sakura, finds out her husband has been cheating on her with the fascinating Masako (Kyoko Hasegawa) when the woman reveals she’s wearing the same perfume – Molinier Gold Rose.

Poor Sakura (Ryôko Shinohara) in her posh bathroom, still unaware of what life has in store for her.

The White Lotus S02E03 (Bull Elephants)

While Tanya is busy with a tarot reader, her assistant Portia (Haley Lu Richardson) is asked to leave and go to the bathroom. This is a rare occasion in which we can take a look at the products that the most desperate character of the show uses.

The two Ortigia products we see on the marble counter – the Zagara room essence and the Bergamotto eau de parfum – are courtesy of the hotel.

Tanya uses another Italian product – the Aquatic Mint toothpaste by Marvis.

Her skincare includes two products by Eve Lom – the Radiance face oil and the Time Retreat radiance essence.

It’s nice to see the unmistakable blue bottle of an Italian drugstore staple – Roberts Acqua distillata alle rose.

Probably the most surprising item here is her fragrance of choice. Tanya wears Paco Rabanne Pure XS, an amber floral fragrance by Quentin Bisch launched in 2018. I expected her to wear something bolder and probably more nostalgic.

The Sandman S01E09 (Collectors)

There are two interesting perfumes on Lyta’s dressing table. And they are very much so because this scene has an unusual setting: this table is in the house that Lyta’s deceased husband Hector has built for them in the Dreaming.

They are probably perfumes that the woman already wears on the ordinary plan of reality or maybe they have been selected to be worn in a different dimension.

The first fragrance (boxed) is Chanel Coco eau de toilette. It’s an amber spicy creation by Jacques Polge, first launched in 1984.

The second, in the gold bottle, is the extrait de parfum of Yves Saint Laurent Cinéma, an amber floral fragrance created by Jacques Cavallier and launched in 2004.

Bewitched S01E05 (Help, Help, Don’t Save Me)

Samantha is packing to move to her mother’s house after arguing with her husband Darrin: she suggested slogans for an advertising campaign he was working on but he suspects she used magic to help.

There are four bottles on her dressing table, three of which I have been able to identify.

The first two bottles on the left are Revlon Intimate, a chypre floral fragrance launched in 1955.

The tall balloon bottle is Lucien Lelong Tailspin cologne, a floral green creation by Jean Carles launched in 1940.
